1. Put your website on ad boards, notepads, pens, newsletters, bumper stickers, coffee cups, tee-shirts and anything you can print on, be creative.
2. When you buy your morning paper, slip some flyers in with the rest of the newspapers or simply leave copies in the box.
3. Business cards are cheap easy to carry and handout to everyone you meet.
4. Article marketing is one of my most favorite method of advertising. Write articles and then publish them, your articles could become viral if you can afford to use a publishing service. Your articles will spread like a virus and could be seen by thousands of people.
5. Participating in online discussion forums is an excellent way to get the word out about your business, and it is free. Build relationships first and use your signature file to let everyone know what you do and that you are ready to help out other members. Don’t spam or you will be kicked out.
6. Online classifieds as well as your local newspaper. Free classifieds are a great option so use them just remember to track your hits to see which places gives hits and which don’t. Drop the no hit wonders…
7. Targeted ezine advertising is one of the best ways to advertise your business. You get only people who are interested in what you offer.
8. Solo ads are pretty cheap and are also very targeted. Your headline should grab their attention and your ad should induce them to click over to your site
9. Use post cards if you can afford to do a mailing people still respond to the written word. Check the copy before you mail them out the wrong URL will do you no good.
10. Purchase double opt-in leads that are targeted and related to your business. If possible get their phone number and followup. Use a reliable service as spam will get you in trouble.
11.Give out bookmarks for libraries and bookstores, most won’t mind since they are free just get permission first
12. Purchase close-out packets of anything cheap, put a tag on them with your website leave no stone unturned .
13. Publish a newsletter or ezine. Build your list then offer paid subscriptions or ads. Focus and target your niche and you will grow…
14. Help someone succeed for free and you can use word of mouth as they will make a great testament to your website and program. Get your friends and family involved
15. Add your testimony to your signature line and you will send it in all of your e-mail reply
16. Give out pin- on buttons that people can wear
17. Pens and crayons to hand out with a short ad and your URL.
18. Get well and thank you cards for hospitals and schools. Think college level visitors who can use your products.
19. An easy to remember domain name is what you need to start with. This helps people remember it.
20. Create an information type handout that briefly explains your business and give it out for free to help drum up visitors.

28. Get a booth at local events and share what you do, have give- away material on hand.
29. Look into putting an ad in school sponsored publications (directories, PTA booklets, etc). Usually not to expensive.

31. Newspaper classified ads are cheap and effective and you can use them to advertise nation wide.
32. Stand out from the crowd be different and get noticed. When you are unique then you are one step ahead of your competition.
There are many ways to promote your business without spending a fortune. Think outside the box. Most people notice things that are different,
something that draws their attention or even makes them laugh.
